The STreaming Day is a highly interactive international forum for the presentation and discussion of the latest technological advances in the streaming of multimedia services within heterogeneous environments. The objective of the STreaming Day is to bring together researchers and developers from academia in all areas of image, video and audio applications, with a special focus on streaming of multimedia services. The Streaming Day 2008 are held at University of Parma, Italy co-located with the 11th Euromicro Conference on Digital System Design (DSD 2008).
